Happy Valentine’s Day.

On Valentines day this year, we enjoyed showering each other with LOVE!20150214_14315420150211_123822The kids had a great day at school and the Valentines that Aaron and I stayed up making (until midnight the night before) were well worth it. We peeled and melted crayons in some heart molds! They turned out super cute! They said “Happy Valentines day for ‘CRAYON’ out loud”. We were overstocked with used crayons, so this really helped with that.IMG_8149

Emma was super cute at school with her heart hairdo and her good friend Jimmy brought her a Valentine to the house that he made with hearts and lace! It was super cute! Aaron and I made home-made heart shaped pizza for dinner for the kids! I think they loved it and thought it was fun.

Samuel helped me make some chocolate covered strawberries for Wesley’s class party! We got the kids a couple fun surprises because we kind of like them…

I absolutely LOVE when the kids make me their very own Valentine’s day cards! They mean the world to me. This is when the most tender, most kindest words come out of their mouths. I love their artwork and just love that they love me! 20150214_185211

The kids were pretty excited to see where we were headed when Dad and I packed a lunch and took them on a like hiking adventure. Aaron and I like to ride our mountain bikes back here, so we decided to take the kids for a picnic in a secretive fun spot! The kids were able to skip rocks, climb on the rocks, eat lunch (which included sandwiches, juice bags, and cheetos!).

After our fun family day, we came home and made the kids delicious pizza! We had a blast. Then we put Samuel to bed and put a movie on for the other three. We gave them a phone and disappeared for an hour or so. We went to the Cedar View and ate a delicious dinner together. It’s always fun to spend some quality time, even if it is only an hour…. with the love of my life. He is really amazing and I don’t always act like it, but I am definitely the luckiest wife in the world! Our love for one another, both friends and family, should be celebrated as often as possible. I love each and everyone of you that are a part of my life and I am so very far beyond grateful for you. Happy Valentine’s Day!
